Josephine Monaco Obituary
Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m.,, Sunday (May 16) at the Palmisano Funeral Home, Inc., 28 Genesee Street, Geneva. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 a.m., Monday (May 17) at St. Francis De Sales Roman Catholic Church, 130 Exchange Street, Geneva. Entombment will follow in St. Mary's Mausoleum.
Contributions in Josephine's memory may directed to a charity of one's choice.
Josephine was born May 10, 1915 in Dupont, Penn., a daughter of the late Nicholas and Clementina (Colella) Pannunzio. She worked for many years at Saga Food Service at Hobart and William Smith Colleges. Josephine enjoyed cooking and was noted for her eggplant parmesan and pizzelles. She was a member of St. Francis De Sales Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Michele Monaco (Charles Prindle) of Rochester; granddaughter, Felice Prindle; special nieces, Lorrie Braverman and Tina Macario; and many other nieces, nephews and cousins. She will be sadly missed by her many friends at the Elmcrest Apartments.
Josephine was predeceased by her husband, Felix N. Monaco in 1998; brothers, Tony, John, Jimmy and Dominic; and sisters, Philomena, Elizabeth and Betty.

Michelle, We were very sorry to hear about Aunt Jo. We have fond memories of her and will miss her at the family get togethers. She always made us laugh! Our sympathy to you and your family. Uncle Nick, Aunt Mary, Nick, Florence.
