Karen Fancett Obituary
At Karen's request no services will be held.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Beverly Animal Shelter 50 E. River Rd. Waterloo, N.Y., 13165
Karen was born on December 2, 1943 in Geneva the daughter of the late Edward S. and Margaret McLean O'Brien. Karen grew up in Geneva and graduated from Geneva High School in 1962. After high school she attended Finger Lakes Community College where she received an A.A.S. degree in Nursing. Karen married Dale Fancett in 1963 in Geneva. They were happily married for 51 years.
Karen is survived by her spouse, Dale Fancett of Geneva; her children, Lee Fancett, Lorne Fancett, Lori Limon and Lindi Fancett; 11 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Karen was preceded in death by her sister, Susan O'Brien Cecere

My thoughts and prayers are with the Fancett family on the loss of your wife, mother and grandmother. May all the memories you have hel you get through the grief of losing a special person. Karen was my sons nurse when he was little. She saved his life when she said he was not gaining weight and helped change his formula... I am truly great full to Karen who was a great nurse and knew there was something wrong with my son... May she rest in peace and she is looking down on all you to help you get over your grief.
