Lee Vreeland Obituary

FAYETTE– Lee W. Vreeland 64 of Yost Rd. passed away February 19, 2024 at his residence.

Calling hours will be Friday (March 1), from 10 a.m. until noon with services at noon with Father Jim Fennessy officiating at the Sanderson-Moore Funeral Home, Inc. 32 State St. Seneca Falls. Interment will follow in New York State Veterans Cemetery, Finger Lakes with full Military Honors.

Lee was born in Waterloo the son of George and Ruth Ogden Vreeland. He retired from the U.S. Army after 21 years of service and served in the 82nd Air Born Division. He served in a detail for President Ronald Regan.

Lee is survived by sisters: Dorothy (Ron) Campbell of California and Kathryn Grover, Burdett, N.Y.; and a brother Wayne (Debbie) Vreeland also from Burdett, N.Y.; several nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.

Predeceased besides his parents George and Ruth is a brother David G. Vreeland.
