Lillian Annony Obituary

GENEVA- Lillian Louise Annony, 93, of Geneva, N.Y., entered into God's kingdom on January 11, 2024. She was born February 20, 1930 to Calista and Charles Strouse.

Lillian, the most loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, was predeceased by her husband, Peter Annony; daughter, Laurie Graham; and great grandson, DeAndre Crouch.

She is survived by her son, Peter (Janet); daughters, Gale Lucase (Steve) and Debbie Hayes (Kevin); grandchildren, Luberta Crouch (Dean), Christina and Anthony Annony, Will Pfeiffer, and Steven Lucase; great grandchildren, Aliyah, Aysiah, Aribella and Everleigh; and extended family of Joanie and John Peters, their children and grandchildren.

After graduating from Gorham High School, Lillian fell in love with and married Pete, and they remained married for 57 years until he passed away in 2006. Lillian considered being a stay-at-home mom her career, took great pride in keeping house, and giving her four children her love and time. Friends and neighbors always felt welcomed, and still note the delicious meals they were invited to share. Lillian's cookie jars were always full, and her unique ""made from scratch"" cakes were enjoyed at many birthdays, fund-raisers and school events. Her children describe her as always loving, a wonderful listener, selfless, and joyful in serving.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff members of Geneva General Hospital for their kindness and care over the last two years, and friends and neighbors for their love and support.

A Memorial Service will be held in the spring.
