Oh my. A little bit late, but nevertheless I am so sorry to read that Linda has left us. Linda was my best friend growing up in Floral Park NY. We were very young. We did everything together! I moved to Chgo when I was 14 and we lost touch. I remember very well her sister Barbara and brother Larry. And her Mom Edna and father Larry. They were always so nice to me. I live in Florida now. My name is Doris MIKLAS, now Dorian Miklas Roberts. So sad to hear. Well my love and prayers always. I hope you get this message. Thx to Google I was able to find my long lost friend.

I am so sorry for your loss, Lou, Nicole and Dustin. Your wife and mother was a truly wonderful and giving woman. I worked many years with Linda at Easter Seals, and at ECRC. I know you were all the light of her life. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Kathy Donis

Linda waa neighbor, a car pool buddy, a coworker at the Naval Submarine Medical Research Laboratory back in the '80s (give or take a decade) and a good, good friend. She was an excellent staff member who always kept Dr. Moellar and the Human Factors psychologists in line. Her physique was small, being around 5' tall, but her personality would light up any room she entered. She was a ball of fire and wit and, oh, so much fun. I was just telling my son this morning how much she loved "The Little Drummer Boy" and how, at one Yuletime party, she couldn't stop singing it, particularly the drum sound "pa rum pa pum pum," which she would sing with her whole being. Her enthusiasm was so contagious and, even though we were all begging her to stop after the hundredth repetition, we really wanted her to never stop. Anyhow, all day today, she's been singing "pa rum pa pum pum" in my heart. After she left the lab and moved from the neighborhood, we pretty much lost touch except for occasional chance meetings at the grocery store. Nevertheless, today I am both sad for her dying way too soon before her time (whatever that means) and, on the other hand, I am so glad that I got to share those now even more precious times together.

I would like to extend my deepest sympathy to Linda's family and friends. I am so glad that our paths crossed while at ECRC Physical Therapy and that we were able to share a short time together. She was a wonderful woman and leader.
Peace.

Dear Lou, Nicole, and Dustin,
We share your sadness for the passing of one of the loveliest people who ever walked among us. She was strong and beautiful and loving and fun. She's left some of herself in each of you so you'll never be without her. Please find comfort in your memories and her legacy.
With Love . . .

My sincere condolences to Linda's entire family.
I primarily knew Linda at Eastern Connecticut Rehab Services as a fellow employee.
I deeply respected Linda for her competence, integrity, leadership and knowledge in her capacity as a Business Manager. How much all of us appreciated Linda's calm and reassuring presence. She had the innate ability to communicate in a caring and, depending upon the situation, a firm manner especially when dealing with difficult situations. She was a true stabilizing "center" for the entire office.
Personally she was someone you could talk to about anything. But I especially enjoyed, being the same age, sharing our common experiences of raising a family. How much Linda appreciated and enjoyed her husband, children and grandchildren.
Linda will be truly missed.
