Linda Secor Obituary

WATERLOO - Linda Hazel Secor, 82, passed away peacefully Tuesday (March 25, 2025) at the Ontario Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Canandaigua, N.Y.

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no calling hours. The graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday (May 10) in Canoga Cemetery, Fayette, N.Y.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association - Rochester Chapter, 200 Meridian Centre Blvd., Suite 110, Rochester, N.Y. 14618.

Linda was born November 22, 1942 in Waterloo, N.Y., the daughter of Roland and Hazel Essom Secor. She was a 1960 graduate of Waterloo High School. Linda was employed at the Seneca Army Depot for 30 years, until its closing. She then worked as a civilian employee for the New York State Court System for 15 years until her retirement. Linda was a collector of Chinese and Japanese art and enjoyed visiting local casinos.

Linda is survived by brother, Gary (Nancy) Secor of Rochester, N.Y.; niece, Shelley (Bradford Socha) Secor-Socha of Palmyra, N.Y.; nephews, Gary (Nicole) Secor II of Penfield, N.Y. and Thomas (Jennifer) O'Brien of Clemmons, N.C.; and great nieces and nephews, Jake and Aubrey Secor and Trevor and Brooke O'Brien.

She was predeceased by her parents; and sister, Nancy Secor.
