Lois Sampson Obituary

WATERLOO - Mrs. Lois Eileen Sampson, 90, of Waterloo-Geneva Rd, died Friday (April 23, 2010) at Geneva General Hospital.
Private calling hours will be at 10 a.m. Thursday (May 6) at Coe-Genung Funeral Home. The private funeral service will be at 11 a.m. The Rev. Bruce Green, Pastor of Savannah Family of God, will officiate. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in Waterloo.
Lois was born January 29, 1920, in Brooklyn, the daughter of the late John and Hilda (Thurston) Lamond. She graduated high school in Brooklyn and later graduated from a trade school. She was employed with various Law Firms in New York City until meeting her late husband. She was a classical pianist.
She is survived by one daughter, Linda Joy Urbach of Waterloo; one son, William Allen Sampson of Waterloo; and one grandson, Charles (Laura) J. Urbach of Pennsylvania.
She is predeceased by her husband, Captain Raymond H. Sampson, U.S. Army.
