Margaret Crosby Obituary
Friends may call on Wednesday (July 15) from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Cheney Funeral Home, 70 Main Street, Phelps. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday (July 16) at 10:00 a.m. at St. Felix Catholic Church in Clifton Springs. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery in Phelps.
It is requested in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made to Happy Tails (Ontario County Humane Society) 2976 Co. Rd 48, Canandaigua, N.Y., 14424 or House of John, 14 Spring Street, Clifton Springs, N.Y., 14432.
Mrs. Crosby was born on August 15, 1943, in Clifton Springs, the daughter of the late Elmer and Margaret Scherbyn Maslyn. She was a member of St. Felix Church in Clifton Springs. Mrs. Crosby retired from J. DeBoover Farms in Phelps. She loved being at home and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Ted Crosby; son, Father Theodore A. Crosby of Lyon Mountain, N.Y.; daughter, Tammy Crosby of Phelps; sister, Betty Gordner of Seneca Castle; sisters-in-law, JoAnne Maslyn of Farmington, Barbara Maslyn of Clifton Springs and Jane Crosby of Geneva; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brothers Elmer, Ken and Joe.
