Marie Donk Obituary
Friends are invited to attend a celebration of Marie's life Wednesday (September 17) from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Patrick Funeral Home, 26 West Main Street, Clifton Springs. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Riverview Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to the Phelps Ambulance Fund in Marie's memory.
Marie was born May 1, 1924, in Lyons, the daughter of the late Leonard and Sophia VanElzakker. She was an administrative assistant for the South Central NY District Council of Carpenters. Family meant everything to Marie. She enjoyed visiting with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all whom she adored. Marie will be sadly missed by all.
Marie is survived by her children, Daniel (Ruth) Donk of Phelps and Pamela (James) Heffron of Geneva; six beloved grandchildren, Michael, Christopher, Cale and Elizabeth Donk, Daniel and Jacqueline Heffron; seven treasured great-grandchildren, Sebastian Brundage, Myranda, Nick and Zack Donk, Arleneld Ridge, Lily and Nolan Heffron.
She is predeceased by her husband, Lawrence in 1995; brothers, Pete and John; sister, Nellie.

So sorry to read of your mother's passing. I remember when she drove a group of us to somewhere in Bristol for a sledding party. Know that when you look into the eyes of your children and grandchildren, you will see her smiling back at you.
