Marlene Lerch Obituary

PENN YAN - Marlene J. Lerch loving mother, grandmother and sister passed away at home on Monday (August 17, 2015).
Calling hours will be held on Thursday (August 20) from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Weldon Funeral Home. Services and burial will be private.
Memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society of Yates County, P.O. Box 12, 1216 Rt. 14A, Penn Yan, N.Y. 14527.
Marlene was born September 23, 1945, the daughter of Elden and Amanda Weichenthal Morrison. She was an administrative assistant for the Penn Yan Schools. She loved camping , boating and gardening.
Marlene is survived by a daughter, Regina Lerch of Penn Yan; two sons, Michael (Kathy) Lerch of Shamokin, Pa., and Brian Lerch of Penn Yan; eight grandchildren, Emily and Collin Clary, Robert and Brandon Bennett, Jerad , Samantha, Matthew and Abigail Lerch; one brother, Elden Morrison of Guyanoga; sister-in-law, Mary Carol Machak of Olean; and several nieces and nephews; also life long friend Gertrude Casteel of Penn Yan.
She was predeceased by her parents; and husband of 45 years, Leonard (King) Lerch.
