I had many positive dealings with Marty at the National Bank of Geneva from 1979 to 1990 when he retired. He was a true gentleman and highly professional.

Joan and boys. I am sorry that Marty has passed. Marty was a dear f
friend. We enjoyed each Thursday playing golf. He brought me on the Board of NBG and enriched my life with his friendship. May he rest in peace and may the family remember all the good things. I am sorry that I will not be at the service. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I have fond memories of Mr. Hayes and the rest of the family from my time in Geneva. I hope the family finds comfort knowing he was a true Christian gentleman.

To the entire Hayes family, my sincerest condolences. I saw your Dad a couple of years ago happy as ever at
Christmas time. Your Dad told my parents that banking was a great occupation. He was correct. I have been in banking for over 40 years. May God bless your family while Marty and Ginger rest.

To all the Hayes boys, I remember your father well from the Jay street days. He was a very nice man and not a bad golfer as I recall from GCC. Very sorry to hear of your loss. RIP.

Marty was my mentor..He talked me into going into business, loaned me the money and followed my career. He was always full of smiles when we were together. His love of old cars led us to discuss much historical car history. He loved seeing my '31 Model "A" last summer in his driveway. I will miss him with much respect and happiness that I knew him all these years. May God find a good place for him, and until we meet again, rest in peace Marty.....
