I'm sorry to hear about Mrs. Donahue she was one of my instructors at Marion S. Whelan class 07 and she was kind, understanding ,but held me accountable and for that it keep me grounded. I remember her warmth and smile like it was yesterday. I know she is in an better place and she's up above resting and smiling .

Always a pleasure working with Mary. Her compassionate heart coupled with her sense of humor made the day lighter! In her words she `wore many hats´ and being a strong Team Player she´d say `Wait a minute- I gotta put my IV hat on!´ She was a valuable asset to the whole team and clearly loved Nursing! Such an honor to work with her! My sincere condolences to Gavin and family. Know that Mary lives on in the hearts of everyone she touched. Fly high my Angel you certainly earned your wings!

A Teacher Who Never Gave Up

It is with heavy hearts that we remember and honor the life of Mary Donahue, a beloved teacher, mentor, and friend whose impact will never be forgotten. Mary was more than an educator-she was a fierce advocate for every student she encountered, refusing to give up on anyone, no matter the circumstance.
I had the honor of having Mary as my teacher when I attended MSW in 2015. Her unwavering belief in me-and in so many others-changed the course of my life. Her guidance, kindness, and strength lit a path for countless students who found hope in her classroom. To know Mary was to know compassion, patience, and relentless dedication.
Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in knowing her legacy lives on in the lives she transformed. To her friends, family, and all who were touched by her spirit-my deepest condolences. If there´s anything anyone needs during this time, please don´t hesitate to reach out.
We will always love you, Mary Donahue. You will never be forgotten. Thank you for everything you´ve done for so many people. We are eternally grateful.

Worked with Mary at the bank - she was always happy, smiling and friendly to everyone. I left the bank and didn't know she went into nursing - what a wonderful treasure that must have been to those she cared for. Condolences to her family. RIP Mary

Mrs.Donahue wow, first and foremost thank you for being an amazing nursing school instructor, because of you I have been a nurse for nine years. I appreciate the structure and confidence you instilled in me. Your contagious laugh, and smile, your jokes, how educated you are everything about you, your confidence lol and I remember you told me I made the best collared greens you had ever had. I love you Mrs.Donahue may your beautiful spirit live on forever.
