Mary Hannan Obituary

CLYDE - Miss Mary E. Hannan, 79, of 65 Lock St., died Sunday (Dec. 27, 2009) at Geneva General Hospital, following an extended illness.
Family and friends are invited to call from 3 to 5 p.m. Wednesday (Dec. 30) at the Baris Funeral Home, 87 W. Genesee St., Clyde. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday (Dec. 31) at the funeral home, with the Rev. Robert Searle officiating. Burial will follow in Southwick Cemetery, Junius.
Mary was born Sept. 3, 1930, in Lyons, the daughter of Edward and Ellen Smith Hannan. She was a lifelong resident of Clyde and an active member of the Clyde United Methodist Church. Mary retired from the Newark Developmental Center after many years of service. She had also been employed by Mr. Harold Mann and the Mann Funeral Home in Clyde. Mary was a past member of the Clyde Grange.
Surviving are her brothers, James Hannan of Lyons and Edward Hannan of Clyde; several nieces, nephews; and many friends.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Thomas Hannan; and her half brother, Danny Smith.
