Mary Jane Ruffalo

NEWARK - Mary Jane Ruffalo, 92, passed on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at Newark Manor.

Friends are in invited to call on Friday, May 30, 2025, from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. at Paul L. Murphy and Sons Funeral Home, 127 E. Miller St., Newark, N.Y. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 31 at St. Michael's Church, 401 S. Main St., Newark, N.Y. Burial will be in Newark Cemetery.

Memorials, in her name, may be made to Laurel House Comfort Care, 224 Fair St., Newark, N.Y. 14513.

Mary was born in Geneva on November 5, 1932, the daughter of the late Andrew and Jane Davoli McCollum. For many years she helped her husband Skip, at Ruffalo Appliance Repair. Once the kids entered school, she took a job in the cafeteria so she would be home when they were. She later worked at the DePauw Ins. Agency and then for Ken George. Mary Jane was a faithful communicant of St. Michael Church where she was a member of the Rosary Altar Society and active with the Christmas Bazaar. She was a Vision of Hope Cancer Survivor.

She is survived by three sons Francis "Chick" (Deborah) Jr., Michael (Anita) Daniel (Mary Jo) Ruffalo; two daughters Anne (Frank) Bullock, Lisa (William) Herman; Eleven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Francis "Skip" Ruffalo; a great granddaughter Gianna Marie Raup; a sister Katherine McKinney Conlin; two brothers Andrew Jr. and Daniel McCollum
