Michael Lawler Obituary
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, (May 18) at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church, 97 W. Bayard St., Seneca Falls. He will be laid to rest with his parents in St. Columbkille Cemetery.
Donations in memory may be directed to Mozaic, Attn: Community Relations, 1083 Waterloo-Geneva Rd., Waterloo, N.Y. 13165.
Michael was born in Geneva, the youngest son of the late William and Helen (Cardwell) Lawler. He graduated from Mynderse Academy, Class of 1982. He was the type of person who lived his life in a way that allowed him to appreciate the beauty that surrounds us every day. He was very artistic. He was an artist who loved to draw. He was also an avid bowler, and loved photography and capturing moments on film. He especially loved all different kinds of music. He also loved animals, both large and small. What brought the biggest joy to his life though was his family and seeing them happy. To those that knew Michael, he will be dearly missed.
Michael is survived by his siblings, Mary Freeland, Ann (David) Billig, William (Mary) Lawler, Theresa O'Connor, Christine (Thomas) Larzelare, Alice (James) Capacci; eleven nieces and nephews, Julia (Brian Parker) Bishop, Onour Moeri, Andrea (Matt) Kramer, Thomas (Lisa) Gable, Tim Kirk, Jim Cologgi, Patrick O'Connor, Danielle (Willie Battle) Larzelere, Tara (Joe) Davis, Hannah and Elizabeth Capacci; seven great-nieces and nephews; as well as his longtime Mozaic housemates and staff.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Eilene Moeri.
