Pamela Boyd Obituary
Pamela was born in Wilmington, Del. on May 5, 1947, to the late James and Marie (nee Centi) Oettinger. She was a graduate of Northern Valley Regional High School in Demarest, N.J. Pamela met her future husband Robert E. Boyd while working at Klopman Mills Inc. in Rockleigh, N.J. Bob and Pam were married at St. Joseph's R. C. Church in Demarest, N.J. on August 28, 1971 and raised their four daughters in Montgomery, N.Y. before retiring to the Finger Lakes in 2016.
As her daughters were growing up, Pamela was very active volunteering at their schools and for their various athletic teams. She enjoyed gardening with her dog, Hunter, at her side and briefly worked part-time with her husband at Boundary Breaks Vineyard in Lodi, N.Y.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Robert E. "Bob" of Romulus; her daughters, Kristin Hellmann of Heber City, Utah, Karen (Bradley) Harris of Westwood, Mass., Lauren (Mark) Olesen of Spring Hill, Tenn. and Jill Boyd of Middletown, N.Y.; her grandchildren, Fisher and Audrey Hellmann, Elliott, Walton and Piper Harris and Sydney Olesen.
Pamela was preceded in death by her brother, Richard.
The family will receive friends at Covert Funeral Home in Ovid on Friday, (June 21), from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Kindly consider a donation in Pamela's memory to the American Cancer Society www.cancer.org.
