Paul Conley Obituary

WATERLOO - Paul Conley, 71, passed away unexpectedly Sunday evening (Oct. 18, 2009) at Geneva General Hospital.
Friends and family are invited to call from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday (Oct. 22) at Mull Funeral Home, 113 Virginia St., Waterloo. A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Friday (Oct. 23) in Maple Grove Cemetery. The Rev. William Dorow Jr., pastor of Calvary Lutheran Church, will officiate.
Paul's family requests memorial contributions be directed to the American Diabetes Association, 595 Blossom Road, Rochester 14610-1869.
Paul was born May 15, 1938, in Romulus, the son of Helen Ralston. He was a 1957 graduate of Phelps High School. He was a self-employed farmer and then retired as plant manager for Geneva Welding in 1995, after 22 years of service. He enjoyed watching NASCAR.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Elsa Thillman-Conley of Waterloo, whom he married Sept. 26, 1964; his sons, Paul (Marjory) of Auburn and Kevin Conley of Waterloo; a grandson Noah D. Conley; his mother, Helen; a sister, Cindy Ralston; brothers, Charles (Michele), Michael, William and James Ralston; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Paul was preceded in death by his sister, Maxine Owens, who passed away in 2006.

Elsa, Paulie and Kevin,

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Everytime I think of Big Paul I think about him telling us the story of the Easter bunny. Gary loved seeing all the newspaper articles that Paul had on Nascar. He sure did have a lot of stories. He will be greatly missed.

Elsa,Paulie,Kevin, my prayers and thoughts are with you. Although I havent seen yall in many years,Dad and mom talk about yall probably more than they talk about any one elese. Anytime they would call you, they would say(talked to Paul and Elsa this week,)then the stories would come.Always love hearin stories about Dad and Paul. Just to let you know, yall are very much still a part of our lives! I have many memories of Paul and all of you,He will be missed. Elsa, Pauley and Kevin.. I am so sorry about your loss. I have alot of memories of visiting yall when we would come to NY. Paul always made me laugh I remember him and snoopy. you are all in my thoughts and prayers, God bless you and give you peace in this time of loss.

Elsa, Paulie, Kevin, so sorry to hear about Paul,he was a great guy.I enjoyed him and dad talking it up about old times when they were young,and would often get on the phone to hear one of there stories.ihave lots of memories ,from when i was young on the tractors out in the field picking up rocks throwing them on old car hoods they dragged behind to get them out of the field. Also the time he took me to mynders vs. waterloo football game .I lived in seneca falls and he in waterloo and he sat on our side and rooted for the indians what fun it was.
