Raymond L. Myrick, Jr.

GENEVA - Raymond L. Myrick, Jr., age 86, of Johnson Road passed away on Saturday (May 23, 2015) at home surrounded by his loving family.
Family and friends may call from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday (May 28) at the McGuigan & Bero Funeral Home, 45 High St., Geneva. Funeral services will follow calling hours at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery at the convenience of the family.

Raymond was born on July 12, 1928 in Schenectady, N.Y. the son of the late Raymond, Sr. and Thelma Elliot Myrick. He was a graduate of Geneva High School and Rensselaer College in Albany. Raymond retired after 35 years from General Electric as an Electrical Engineer. He then owned and operated El-Ray Productions, producing videos for major events and worked into his 80's at BJ's Wholesale Gas Station. Ray was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who loved spending time with his family and traveling, visiting National Parks including his favorite, Yellowstone National Park.
Ray is survived by his loving wife, Lulu; children, Paul (Marla) Myrick of Fairfax, Va., David Myrick of Atlanta, Ga., Lori (Robert) Cline of Longwood, Fla., Brenda Steinlicht of Geneva and Charles P. (Sarah) Mitchell of Waterloo; grandchildren, Shannon, Justin, Lindsey, Brittany, Ashley, Samantha, Sierra, Paul, Jack and Ashtin; great-grandchildren, Savannah and Jaylen; sister, Constance Bauer of Geneva; brother, Richard (Carolyn) Myrick of Hamlin; several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased besides his parents by his triplet sister Barbara Myrick.
