Raymond Pichany Obituary

SENECA FALLS - April 7, 1941 – July 26, 2025, Raymond W. Pichany, 84, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at Geneva General Hospital with his family by his side.

Born in Auburn, N.Y., Ray was the son of the late Raymond and Beatrice (Johonnes) Pichany. He graduated from Weedsport High School and worked as a maintenance supervisor at Evans Chemetics in Waterloo, N.Y.

Ray is survived by his devoted wife of 54 years, Marie "Cookie" (Marrapese) Pichany; daughter and son-in-law Lisa Gaglianese and Anand Devadas of Washington, DC; son Brian (Kim Marie) Pichany of Irondequoit, N.Y.; son-in-law Richard Keenly of Seneca Falls; cherished grandchildren Amanda (David) Burleson, Dominic and Kelley Pichany, and great grandchildren Ava and Lydia Burleson. He is also survived by his sisters Margaret (Delbert) Sypes and Patricia Mapley.

He was predeceased by his daughter Rene' Keenly; his sister and brother-in-law Gertrude and Glenn Woods; and brother-in-law Wilber Mapley.
