Richard Burleson, Jr. Obituary

WATERLOO - Richard "Corky" C. Burleson, Jr., 65, of 16 Inslee St., died Saturday (December 29, 2018) at Rochester General Hospital.

There will be no calling hours or services.

Corky was born Dec. 29, 1953, in Auburn, N.Y., the son of Richard C. and Sonja M. Bergren Burleson, Sr. He was a 1972 graduate of Unions Springs, N.Y.. Corky worked for many years at Howard's Express in Geneva and Seneca County American Red Cross Chapter. He was an avid Yankee fan.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Sandra J. Burleson; children Stacy Burleson of Newark, N.Y. and Michael Burleson of Red Banks, N.J.; grandchildren Gabbi Burleson, Natalie Mahar, and Madison Burleson; brother, Scott (Linda) Burleson of Waterloo, N.Y.; many cousins, nieces and nephews; and his special canine companion, Suzie.
