Robert Pridmore Obituary
There will be no prior calling hours or service.

Robert was born in Utica, N.Y. on January 15, 1924, the son of the late Harold and Clara Tucker Pridmore. He graduated from Utica High School and served in the U.S. Navy from 1941 to 1945. He met Barbara DeCann at the USO in Sampson in 1943, and they were married on September 21, 1946. He and his business partner started the Geneva Adjustment Service in Geneva, N.Y. in 1955. In that year, he and Barbara moved to Penn Yan. In 1981, Bob sold his adjustment business and began a career in real estate. He sold on several names and finished his over 20 year career with Century 21. He was a 20 plus year member of the Penn Yan Area Volunteer Ambulance Corp. He served on the Yates County Legislature and was also a member of the American Legion.
He is survived by his daughters, Susan Morgan of Florida and Carol (Rod) Campo of Arizona; grandchildren, Kristen (Stuart) Campo-Barnes, James (Diane) Campo and Lisa (David Holmes) Beach; and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Barbara; and granddaughter, Jennifer (Beach) Culver.

My sympathies to Bob's family. I first met Bob in 1974 when I was with Kemper Insurance locally. Geneva Adjustment was a go-to for us when we could not staff-cover a claim. I really got to know him at Worker's Compensation Hearings as we waited for our cases to be called. We had in common our love of Penn Yan and Keuka Lake.
Bob was a true gentleman and a consummate professional. I am so sorry for your loss.

I was hired by Bob at Geneva Adjustment Service in 1978, and worked with him until he sold the business. He and Barbara were a nice couple to know. His family will certainly miss him.
