Roger Goebert Obituary

AUBURN - Roger T. "Rocky" Goebert Sr., 73, of 35 Sherman Street, Auburn died Saturday (October 1, 2011) in Rochester General Hospital.
Friends are invited to join the family for calling hours Saturday, from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Cheche Funeral Home Inc., 1778 Clark Road, Auburn. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
A native of Lackawanna, N.Y., Rocky lived in Auburn for the past 30 years. He was a Veteran of the Korean War having served with the United States Air Force.
He is survived by his mother Margaret Rank Goebert; his wife Bernice Goebert; and his companion of 31 years Judith Maestre; four sons, Raen, Roger Jr., Lance and Calan Goebert; two daughters, Aubrie and Erica Goebert; eight grandchildren; one great-grandson; several brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews.
