Rose Conner Obituary

WATERLOO– Rose "Rosie" Conner, 29, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at Strong memorial Hospital.

There will be no calling hours. A funeral service will be held January 2, at 10 a.m. at Saint Mary's Church, 25 Center Street, Waterloo. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. A celebration of Rosie's life will be held immediately following the funeral service at the VFW, 29 W. Elisha Street, Waterloo.

Rose was born to William Conner and Cora Collins on September 18, 1994 in Newark. Rose Marie graduated from Mary Cariola in 2016. Rosie liked bowling, camping, music and pontoon riding. In the summer you could always find Rose in her happy place…outside swinging on one of her many swings, and listening to her boom box radio, flipping from one station to another. She put smiles on our faces every day with her fun-loving personality. If you were lucky enough to have met Rose, you will never forget her.

"Rosie Posie" was loved and is survived by her mom and dad, William and Jackie Conner; brother, Seth; sisters, Katie, Kristen and Tiffany; gramma Renee House; aunts and uncles, Tom, John, and Tina House, Peggi and Bob Ennis, Patti, Kathy, Cindy, Kim and Debbie, Paul and John; many nieces, nephews and cousins; her biological mom, Cora and many, many friends.

Please consider a donation in Rosie's name to either, Wilmont Cancer Institute or Galisano Children's Hospital, 601 Elmwood Ave., Rochester, New York 14642.

Rest in peace Rosie, you'll never be afraid in the dark again, 'cause your light will always shine the way.

I had the pleasure of knowing Rosie and enjoying her sense of humor and smile. She brought sunshine to our lives. I remember her referring to her brother as a minion. There is a special place in my heart for Rosie .
