Sandra Haines Obituary

WATERLOO - Sandra R. Haines, 76, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at the Huntington Living Center, with her sister by her side.

Friends and family are invited to calling hours, Friday, August 29, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Mull Funeral Home, 113 Virginia Street, Waterloo. A funeral service will follow immediately after at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Sandy as born on July 9, 1949 in Troy, N.Y. to the late Richard L. and Abbie I. (Naughton) Haines. Before retiring, Sandy worked in administration at the Auburn Correctional Facility in Auburn. She liked crafting and knitting. She was a member of the Waterloo VFW Auxiliary, Waterloo American Legion Auxiliary and Marine Corps League Auxiliary.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the VFW Post, 29 W Elisha St., Waterloo, N.Y. 13165

Sandy is survived by her sister, Donna Sochia of Waterloo; niece Nikole Eggleston and nephew; Jason Eggleston.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her nephew; Sean Eggleston.
