Sharon Sovie Obituary
Inurnment will be at a later date in St. Mary's Cemetery in Geneva, N.Y.
A memorial mass will be held 11:00 a.m. on Saturday (July 6) at Saint Anne Catholic Church in Rock Hill.
Born in Waterloo, N.Y., she enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her friends and family. She made friends wherever she went.
Survivors include her husband, Richard "Bo" Sovie; daughter, Darlene Ring; step-daughter, Melanie Sovie; step-son, Rick Sovie (Krystina); sister-in-law, Cathy Plumadore (Phil); four precious grandchildren; and many loved nieces; nephews; cousins; and friends.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents Dominic and Fay DeYulio Moracco; her first husband, Steven DeRycke; and her brothers Nicholas and Anthony Moracco.

I so miss you Sharon. We played on Mynderse St. Seneca Falls together. You were the Deal kids cousin...we didn't know then we were actually cousins...I am so glad you found me...we became sisters instead of cousins by choice, I will always love you and cherish the fun times we had for a couple years in NY...going to Connie's for our Quickies...the trips to get your birth certificate LOL...I could be in Bedford Hills LOL I loved you that much. I giggle writing this...you were the best gift God sent me that day I answered the phone...I will always love you my special sister...and yes I will meet Darlene before I die. I love her too...she is my special niece.

We are so very sorry to hear of Sharon's passing. We have many memories of her but loved the one where husband and her at a family gathering, were dressed as Mr.&Mrs.Claus. What fun.

To Bo, Dar, and family, I am so very sorry for your loss. There are absolutely no words for how deeply Sharon will be missed. Sharon brought light and love to everyone who knew her, including me.
