Teri Durso Obituary
Teri was born in Seneca Falls, N.Y. on July 19, 1959, the daughter of James R. & Geraldine A. Peterson Durso. She was a life resident of the Waterloo-Seneca Falls area and was employed for over 30 years with the Seneca County Sheriff's Depart ment. In addition, she was a part of the Seneca County Sheriff's Depart ment Dive Team. Teri was also a member of St. Patrick's Church, Seneca Falls. She was active in the S.M.S. Bocce League and the Women's City Bowling League at the former Finger Lakes Bowl of Sen eca Falls. She was a member of the S.M.S. Auxiliary. Teri greatly enjoyed spending time with all her nieces and nephews as well as cheering them on at their sporting events. She was an avid reader and a collector of Boyd's Bears, Cherished Teddies, Marie Osmond Dolls, Christmas Village, & the Days of Yesterday. She enjoyed classic T.V. and attending fireworks displays. She also enjoyed volunteering for functions such as the St. Mary's Festival.
She is survived by her mother, Geraldine "Gerry" Durso of Waterloo, N.Y.; one brother, James G. "Butch" (Lin) Durso of Victor, N.Y.; three sisters, Karen (Michael Fallat) Durso of Auburn, N.Y., Patty (Nori) Leader of Bald winsville, N.Y., Geri Kay (Michael) Forde of Water loo, N.Y.; seven nieces and nephews, Nicholas, Nicole, & Zach Leader, Tyler Durso, Brittanie, Halie, & Lainie Forde; several aunts and uncles.
Teri was predeceased by her father, James R. Durso; and her grandparents, Gordon and C. Anna Peterson as well as V.J. and Jane Durso.

Dear Gerri,
My heart goes out to and your family for your devastating loss. Though I have not seen Teri for several years my recollection of her is of a sweet, quiet girl who was well liked by everyone and a joy to be around. Her notice in the paper was beautiful. She seemed to have accomplished so much in her lifetime.
