WEBSTER/DUNDEE - Timothy O'Brian "Tim" Clancey, age 64, of Webster, N.Y. formerly of Dundee, N.Y., passed away unexpectedly on November 22, 2021.
Calling hours will be from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday (November 28) at the Baird Funeral Home, 36 Water Street, Dundee.
His funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday (November 29) at the Dundee Baptist Church, 20 Seneca Street, Dundee with Lay Pastor Lew Ann Giles, and Pastor Mike Trenchard officiating. Burial will follow with Military Honors in Hillside Cemetery, Dundee.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in his honor to a
charity of the donor's choice.
Tim was born on April 15, 1957, in USMCAS, Cherry Point, N.C. to Newell R. and Joanne M. (Giles) Clancey. He graduated class of 1975 from Dundee Central School. He went into the Air Force for four years of service and went on to earn an Associate's Degree in Engineering from Alfred State. He worked as a manager for the family grocery store, Giles Shurfine for 25 years. On July 15, 2001, in the Dundee Baptist Church, he married the former Maureen A. Webster. A life-long area resident, he and his wife relocated to Webster in 2016. He held various positions in Penn Yan and Rochester most recently working for Ide Honda in Penfield, N.Y. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, and the Buffalo Bills. He was a member of the Dundee Baptist Church, and the Dundee American Legion. He was most passionate about his love and commitment to all of his family.
Tim is survived by his wife of 20 years, Maureen A. Clancey of Webster; his parents, Newell and Joanne Clancey of Dundee; blended sons and daughters, Jake (Chrissy) Clancey of Dundee, Eric (Kaycie) Clancey of Aiken, S.C., Jodi Clancey of Aiken, S.C, Kristin (Robert) Johnson of Williamson and Kathleen Huey (Chris Brown) of Henrietta; his siblings, Doug (M.J.) Clancey and Trudy (T.J.) Richards; and his grandchildren, Johnathen (K-leigh Van Zile), Mykenzie and Christopher Clancey, Seth and Sydnie Williams, Ethan, Emily, Caleb and Joshua Clancey, Domonic Clancey, Vincent and Marcus Johnson; along with numerous nieces and nephews; and too many in-laws on his wife's side of the family to mention. But he loved every one of them.
He is preceded in death by Colleen Huey.
Tim was a compassionate, caring and loving man, never without a smile, and will be missed but never forgotten by all who loved him.
