W. Sachs Obituary

WATERLOO - W. Ronald Sachs, 90, passed away peacefully at his son's home, early Thursday morning, March 27, 2025.

At request of the family there will be no calling hours. Friends and family are invited to a graveside service to be held at a later date in Maple Grove Cemetery where Pastor Dave Spencer, Senior Pastor of Seneca Community Church, Romulus will conduct the service.

Ron was born on April 9, 1934 in Uswick, Pa. the son of the late Joseph and Florence (Frisbey) Sachs. After school, Ron worked various jobs and ended his career as Highway Superintendent the Town of Seneca Falls. After his retirement he enjoyed working on and selling lawn mowers and small engines.

He is survived by his son, Roger (Diane Marquart) Sachs of Waterloo; his daughter, Kim (Patrick) Howden of Aynor, South Carolina; sons, Ron of Waterloo and Mike of Seneca Falls; several grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends.

He was predeceased by his parents, his wife Marion (Scharett); sisters Agnes Hobert, Doris Creeley and brother; Ernie Sachs.

Memorial contributions in Ron's memory can be made to Seneca Community Church at 5738 Rte. 96 Romulus, N.Y. with attention to First Impressions to Lasting Differences Fund or Rochester Regional Health Hospice Care at 3300 Monroe Ave Rochester N.Y., Attn: Wayne County.

To the Sachs family, my condolences to hear of Ron's passing! He and Dad spent a lot of time together when I was young, and wow could they talk......forever, LOL. A great man and a great friend to Dad. He will be missed!
