I was sad to hear my old run'n buddy had passed. All through high school we cruised the "64" falcon through Auburn and partied together on the weekends making for some of the best times and memories of my life. We had some Craaaazy times together. We ended up joining the Navy together under the buddy program. After bootcamp he ended up at ComNav AirPac in San Diago and I ended up on an aircraft carrier. After discharge we hung out with our new families and ended up working together at Lake Spalding and then at the Auburn Damm project before it went belly up with the USBR. We talked over the years and made a point to see one another a few times as life moved forward. I'm glad that we saw one another within the last 18 months. He was by far the best auto wrench I ever new. And one of the bigger motorheads in high school. He was my best man and I was his when we got hitched. Love ya buddy. You will always be on my mind buddy...Friends forever.....Randy

Dad... I reached for hot sauce the other day for you and remembered....and cried in the store. Today...it was RoTel which you must have told me a million times to put in everything I make....will this ever get easier? I miss you so much...I need you to be the first one to greet me when its my turn. Your on my mind constantly....I try hard to focus on the happy, funny memories but sometimes tears overwhelm me. Your kids miss you so much. We adored you....I love you D.A.D.

Kurt I will always remember you ...you are so funny and I remember our times together as always happy and fun, going to the river hanging out in your car and our partys together. The time we came and saw you in Co. I will miss you and we will see each other again. I will think of you often as I always have.

Growing up with my father sence I was 5 had been a journey. He tought me so much as I grew into a young lady. He stayed on my butt about my grades and made me get a job to start learning how to be an adult. He showed me how to ride my first bike then later showed me how to drive. Always full of good info to mold me in my growing years. I have always been a daddys girl, he had a way of making all three kids feel like his favorite in his own way. I remember when he gave me my first car, he made sure I knew how to work on all the basics so I would have to ask anyone to help me. The love he gave me never ended through the years. I would sit on the phone for hours just talking to him about all kinds of random stuff.... I miss him so much as he has always been such a huge part of my life .. His hugs were the best as he held on for dear life till the hug ended. He never wanted me sad for he would always make me laugh. He told me just days before he passed how happy and proud of me me was for all that I have done in my life and he was a proud dad. We had made plans for him to come visit the first of the year... :-(. Words can not explain the loss I feel for my father, teacher and most of all a wonder friend and man. He will be greatly missed in many ways and many lives. I love you D.A.D.

Daddy...I miss you so very much I cannot explain. I treasure your humor and I will forever miss your hugs and silliness. I will keep your brass polished, I promise. You have always meant the world to me. Thank you for everything you have blessed me with and thank you for loving me so much. Always a daddy's girl...can't wait to see you again.
