John Bull Obituary

Loving Husband, Father, Son

John "Jack" William Bull of Forest Lake, MN (Born in Forbes, ND), passed away peacefully on March 11, 2023 at United Hospital, St. Paul, MN. He died of natural causes at the age of 77.

Jack's passions were family, nature, and education. Jack was always there for his immediate and extended family, friends, and community. He was the one that you called if you needed help. He may have left the North Dakota farm, but he was always a farmer at heart, focusing on ethical hunting, land conservation, shoreline and prairie restoration. Throughout his lifetime career as an educator, teacher, and administrator, he worked with many students, families, and staff in the Mankato, Centennial, and North Branch Public Schools, Woodbury Math and Science Academy, and Pine Tech. Jack and his wife, Judy, made a powerful team within the Forest Hills United Methodist Church supporting the Forest Lake community.

He was a loving father, grandfather, nephew, son, and uncle.

He is preceded in death by his amazing wife, Judy and his mother and his father, Evelyn and Chuck Bull.

He is survived by son, Chad Bull (Sarah) and daughter, Tessa Bull. Grandfather of Jason, Lillian, and Jocelyn. Brother-in-Law of Cress Gackle (Sue), Greg Gackle (Judy), Deb Kruger, and Scott Gackle. Uncle of Seth, Ellen, Cresston, Holly, Derek, and Amy.

Special thanks to United Hospital and Eaglecrest caregivers.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jack's name can be donated to Shimmin-Tveit Forbes Area Museum, Main St., Forbes ND, 58439.
