Preceded in death by parents, Ray and Lois Cooper; sister, Diane Mack.
Survived by wife of 55 years, Mary Ann; children, Derek (Rachel) Cooper, Megan (Corey) Peterson, Erin (Corey) Morning; grandchildren, Doran Cooper, Shea Peterson, Josie Cooper, Evan Peterson; siblings, Dennis, Barb, Connie (Ron) Frazier, Lori (Todd) Hoffman; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Mike was born in Milbank, SD, and often returned there to help on the farm he loved. He was a proud Army Veteran and had a long and successful career at 3M. Mike enjoyed being outdoors, especially working in the yard, and watching his children and grandchildren participate in their activities. Most importantly, he cherished spending time with his family and friends.
Visitation 3-5 PM Sunday, October 26th at Roberts Family Funeral Home, Forest Lake. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Monday, October 27th with visitation beginning at 10 AM at the Church of Saint Peter, Forest Lake. Interment, Calvary Cemetery. Memorials preferred to the family, a portion will be donated to Mike's favorite charitable organizations.
