A friend from Orlando who had the pleasure of knowing LaVaughn while in boot camp. He had the world in his hands very young smart and handsome, we meet at a nightclub in Orlando, and seen one another for the time he spent here. We spent Holidays together and became close. When he was deployed we promised to stay in touch and we did when it was possible. I have been looking for him for a long time, although I knew him as LaVaughn, so in my search Adrian never crossed my mind. These last few days I have gone through the database searching for him and unfortunately I found he had passed, . It was the late 90’s when we last spoke. My heart is broken, I was never able to say goodbye, but for his children my the Lord bless all of you for you had and still have a father that will love you forever. See you on the other side LaVaughn.

Brewster was a great guy. Had many great memories with him on USS Ray. We both became teachers after our military service. RIP brother. You made a difference.

I remember having him as my science teacher back in 2007 for a semester. He was one of my faves and made science worth it. He was a funny teacher and actually made learning fun. He would also make the periodic table fun to learn with cheesy jokes :). I am sadly gonna miss him. My prayers and positive vibes to the family and his kids. He really has made an impact on my life and I am glad I was able to be in part his life as a student.

Mr. Brewster taught me many things but most importantly he taught me how important I was as a person. Mr. Brewster was my favorite teacher and technically I was not even suppose to be one of his students. My science teacher could not handle me and had to put me in detention everyone other day. Mr. Brewster noticed me because he taught my sister and would wonder why I was there so much. I remember when he would come and grab me out of detention, take me to his class and make me learn. I never thought any teacher would ever want me in their classrooms but not Brewster. He would welcome me with respect, attention, sarcasm, and plenty of 'yo mama' joke battles. Mr. Brewster didn't know what I was going thru at home and how much his action helped me get thru that tough period in my life. His willingness to not give up on a stranger will last forever in me. My deepest condolences to you and your family in this hard time.
