Bob Bell Obituary

Bob Bell, age 80, of Cumming, Georgia, passed away on June 8, 2025. Born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Bob found pleasure in the simple joys of life - cherishing time spent with family and friends and sharing stories that brought laughter and warmth to any gathering.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Linda Bell; his sister, Beverly Thompson; his two sons, Corey Bell and Andrew Bell; and his cherished grandchildren: Lindsay (Patella) Crowell, Will Patella, Blake Bell, and Brooke Bell. Bob was deeply proud of his family and found his greatest joy in their accomplishments and company.

A respected leader in the financial industry, Bob served as the President of the American Association of Commercial Finance Brokers, where his professionalism, integrity, and vision left a lasting impact. He was a great mentor - generous with his time, wisdom, and encouragement - and helped guide and inspire many in the commercial finance world.

Beyond his professional achievements, Bob was a devoted husband, father, brother, and grandfather. He had a special love for boating on Lake Lanier, where he found peace and happiness out on the water.

Whether piloting a boat on Lake Lanier or sharing a story with friends and family, he brought people together with his kindness and humor.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
