Charles M. Becker, age 91, went home to be with his heavenly father August 17, 2022. He was born June 29, 1931 in Atlanta, GA, the son of Elmer Becker and Lillian Williams Becker. He was a graduate of Grady High School and Georgia Tech, a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity. He served in the United States Marines for 13 years, with active duty in the Korean War. He had a long career in the missile and aerospace industry with Martin-Marietta, Lockhead and United Technologies. In addition, he was an adjunct professor of Operations Management at Central Connecticut State University and University of North Georgia - Dahlonega and Gainesville. If you knew Charlie, you would know of his love for meeting new people and animals. He was always looking for new networking opportunities. He was active in numerous organizations including Good Samaritan Health Center Atlanta. Charlie loved God and was an active member of First Baptist Church Cumming. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Nancy Becker and children Leslie Becker of Virginia, Lauren Hill-Stapp of Florida, and step-son Scott Heath (Mary) of Oregon, sisters GeJuan Cardwell (Jack) of Illinois, Caroline Moore of Florida and seven nephews. He was preceded in death by brother Elmer.
