James Glaze Obituary
Jamie was a devoted father and grandfather. He was an independent life and health sales agent. Jamie was formerly a butcher in the third generation family business, Glaze's Grocery in Doraville. He was also a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church and Mountain Lake Church.
In addition to his parents, Jamie is survived by his beloved wife, Heidi Glaze of Cumming; daughter, Jessica Jane Glaze and her finance Bobby Burrell-Whitfield of Covington; brothers, Randy (Lee) Glaze and Mark (Kathy) Glaze of Cumming; sisters, Terri Glaze (Ray) Weeks of Dunwoody, Jennifer Glaze duPont of Cumming; grandchildren, Laila J'Lee Burrell-Whitfield, Bianca Jane Burrell-Whitfield; nieces and nephews, Adrian Glaze, Jacob duPont, Lillie Weeks, Brinson Weeks, Claire Weeks, Kaitlin Kelly, Sara Kelly.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Oct. 28, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of McDonald and Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Danny Hyatt officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Tucker. The family will receive visitors Wednesday, Oct. 27, from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
