Kate Hyde Obituary

Kate Hyde, age 90, of Forsyth County passed away Friday, July 6, 2012, following a brief illness. She was the last of nine children of General Washington and Lottie Arizona Spriggs Reavis. Kate was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Edward Hyde; and a very special granddaughter, Pam Wright.
She is survived by her daughters, Patsy Humphreys of Alpharetta, Connie Wright of Dawsonville, Wanda Hardin of Florida; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and other loving relatives and friends also survive.
Funeral services were held Monday, July 9, at New Harmony Baptist Church, with the Rev. J.W. Watson, the Rev. Jerry Orr, the Rev. Tim Biddy, the Rev. Clyde Boling and the Rev. Johnny Padget officiating. Interment followed at New Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery.
