Russell Brooks Obituary
Survivors include his wife, Maureen Brooks of Atlanta; sons, Alan Brooks of Atlanta, Matt Brooks of Atlanta; four sisters; three brothers; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Dec. 27, at 3 p.m. at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Grady Hester and the Rev. Larry Brooks officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Friday, Dec. 26, from 2-4 p.m. and from 6-9 p.m., and on Saturday, Dec. 27, from noon until hour of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Therapeutic Program at Chastain Horse Park, 4371 Powers Ferry Road, Atlanta, GA 30327.
Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.

Dear Maureen, Alan and Matt,
I was in New York and did not hear about Russell until I returned to Rose Ridge Farm in late December. I have fond memories of our days at the silos, to RRF and beyond. Although I haven't seen you, you all remain in my prayers. God Bless Betty Lynch (Haluska)

Maureen, Alan and Matt,
I am so sorry for your loss. Russell was the quintessential horseman and gentleman. I had a horse at Rose Ridge, who came in skinny and sick from prior owner and Russell assured me that he'd be "good as new" in 3 months. Under Russell and Mureen's care, he was.
Russell will be missed by so many people!!!
