Sarah Moody-Bryan Obituary

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Sarah Moody-Bryan of Cumming, Georgia, a beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend, who joined Jesus in Heaven on November 29, 2024. Sarah's life was a testament to love, strength, and unwavering dedication to her family and those fortunate enough to know her. She had a strong faith in Jesus Christ and her family takes solace that she is resting in His arms now.

Born to Bill and Betty Moody, Sarah grew up in Conyers, Georgia with a vibrant spirit and a deep love for her family, nature, and horses, which continued to influence her life. She was a devoted mother to her cherished children, Ethan and Emma Bryan.

Sarah enjoyed time with her siblings, Heath Moody and Hannah (Brad) Holmes, who will forever treasure the countless memories and moments of laughter they shared together. She was a loving aunt to Ava Moody, Greyson Moody, Brayden Hahn, and Alexander Holmes. Sarah is reunited in Heaven with her loving grandparents, William "Pete" and Dorothy Shaw, as well as Ralph and Ruth Moody.

Sarah's warmth, compassion, and generosity touched everyone she met. She used these attributes to earn her PhD in Christian Counseling and she created a successful counseling practice. She had a remarkable desire to comfort and help people, and her kindness will be remembered by all who were blessed to know her.

Sarah Bryan will be remembered as a vibrant soul who embraced life with a compassionate spirit and as a voyage of discovery. She found joy in hiking through nature's beauty, gliding across the water on her paddleboard, and exploring many of the world's wonders. Her love for travel reflected her curiosity and zest for new experiences, and her happiest moments were those spent with her cherished family. Sarah's laughter, kindness, and love for life will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew her. Her legacy of strength and warmth is carried on by her family and friends, who will always treasure the memories they shared. While her passing leaves a void that cannot be filled, her legacy of love and resilience will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

A celebration of Sarah's life will be held on December 17, 2024 at 4pm at the Three Oaks Farm in Cumming, GA. All who knew and loved Sarah are invited to attend. The family suggests that guests wear light pink in honor of Sarah.

I am simply heartbroken. Sarah was the best counselor I have ever had in my entire life. She helped me resolve issues that I had been struggling with for years. I reached out last week to make an appointment after losing both my parents only 7 months apart. It wasn´t like her not to reply so I did some research online.

I am in shock. There is so much more I would like to say about her. She has a heart of gold - a true servant heart.

I am in shock and feel like I have lost a dear friend as we interacted for the past 8 years.

I know she is riding horses in Heaven and watching over us all!

You will be missed.

My heart aches hearing this news. I hadn´t spoken to Sarah in a couple of years and came searching for how to get in touch with her. She was a true gem, one of a kind. So many laughs and fun times! My condolences to Emma, Ethan, and her entire family and loved ones. Fly high beautiful Sarah, rest peacefully.

I saw Sarah for counseling and she was truly a special person. She helped me through an amazingly tough time and I´m not sure how I will move forward without her. We shared a big hug when I saw her last, and she said, "I will see you again soon, ok? " we shared our love of horses, and our walk with Jesus Christ. Oh, Sarah, send me your spirt of guidance so I will know how to go on without you.

Ethan and Emma, I am so sorry for your loss. Your mom was such a special person and such a big heart. Her sense of humor and spontaneous little dances made me laugh even in the worst of times. I have so many wonderful memories of her. I was blessed to have her as a friend and will truly miss her.

Our hearts are broken upon hearing about the passing of Sarah, she will be sorely missed. She was such a kind person. When my husband was going through cancer treatments, she checked on him almost every day and sent food to our house and came to visit him. We will really miss the friendship we had with her. Our thoughts and prayers are with her children and family. May they find comfort knowing she is now at peace with the Lord.
