I am late in expressing sympathy in Aaron's passing. You all fought for so long to help him overcome his illness. I didn't know Aaron personally but was aware of the changes. You are facing this loss with a faithful strength. God be with you as he welcomes Aaron.

Aaron and I never met, but he was a community member in a colts fan group that I help moderate. A couple months ago he posted about his amazing experience with the franchise where he met some members of the organization, and his post was quickly praised and embraced by the community. We were deeply saddened to hear about his passing, but we wanted you to know that Aaron had a positive impact on our community and we all mourn his loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

I am heartbroken to hear about Aaron. The Stone boys were by far my easiest clients as children , Aaron always had a smile on his face and if those cowlicks were bothering him it was fine , just shave it all off . You are all in my thoughts and prayers, and I am praying for the strength you will need to get through this . I miss you all and am so happy to see the support you have had through this journey , it takes a village for sure to get through such a tragedy . Rock on Aaron , you will be missed sweet boy.

We didn't personally know Aaron but would keep up on him and his illness through the church news letter.

Mike, LouAnn and Sam,
Aaron was one special kid! He always had something funny to say even when you could tell he was not feeling well. I always loved listening to Zach telling stories of Aaron from travel baseball and overnights with the guys. The entire Schwartz family is lucky to have known him and will cherish those memories! Aaron was the sweetest kid and always had the biggest smile on his face. It's awful to see him go... But whenever you needed someone to cheer you up he would be there to make you laugh or to cry with you. His sense of humor made everyone laugh with his jokes and his personality. Aaron was an amazing person and made the world a better place by being in it. He always made me laugh, especially through his writing. He once called Nathaniel Hawthorne "Nate" in a formal essay and I've never forgotten it - Aaron had a style and sense of humor that can't be recreated. His passion for music was incredible, and I know he was well loved by his friends at school. Sending well wishes to his family and friends throughout this difficult time.

My heart brakes with the passing of one of my baseball boys. I will always remember Aaron as a fun loving kid that had an eternal smile. Great memories from Don Ayres baseball and YMCA Cubs trips. I remember Aaron winning a team award for the most pieces of gum at one time. I would have taken 9 Aaron Stones and put them on the baseball field because we would have a great time and be successful. Your light will shine forever in my heart.

I didn't have the privilege of knowing Aaron, but I did grow up with the Stone family. Therefore, I find it easy to understand what a gracious and wonderful person everyone says he was. My heart is broken for Mike and Louanne as I cannot even imagine losing a child. In saying that, I know how strong the Stone family is in their faith and how much they can rely on each other.
