1964 - 2025

Adam Joseph Connelly, 60, of Fort Wayne, IN, went to be with his beautiful Savior February 25, 2025, surrounded in song and prayer by his loved ones. Adam was born May 12, 1964, the youngest son of Dr. Richard and Helen (Rozgony) Connelly. After graduating in 1983 from Snider High School he furthered his education at IPFW with a degree in biology and chemistry. He was baptized at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, where he married the love of his life, Wendy (Beck) and gained 2 daughters and 2 sons. He founded his current business, Red Earth Industrial, in 2012. How he loved caring for his employees, customers, and providing meaningful work for others. He trusted the Lord to confirm the work of his hands. Through his sacrificial life and service to others gardens were tilled, homes prepared for single moms, young people mentored, and many ministered to in countless ways. And perhaps a whiskey or two shared! He loved his wife and family well and leaves behind beautiful memories of shared experiences in the great outdoors and working together on their MI property. Neighbors, family, and friends alike will miss spotting Adam in his red truck alongside his big hairy German Shepherd, Oz. Adam was preceded in death by his parents and brother Richard (Rick) Connelly Jr. He leaves behind a beautiful legacy to those who live on. His treasured wife, Wendy, and her children he loved so well, Emily, Connor, Caroline, and Will Bussick; brothers Rex (Kathy) Connelly and Brett (Debbie) Connelly; many beloved in-laws, nieces and nephews who considered him a son, a brother, and an uncle in every way. He was so grateful to be a part of the family God knit together where love was so evident. Visitation will be held Friday, March 14 from 4-8 PM at FairHaven Funeral Home, 6557 N Clinton St., Fort Wayne, IN 46825. A funeral service will occur Saturday, March 15 at 11:15 with additional visitation beforehand from 10-11am at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 3425 Crescent Ave., Fort Wayne, IN 46805.
