My mother (Barbara Blackwell) and I have been reminiscing about Barb. Such a joy to have known - from her days in New Haven and Trier Road to her time at Hudson's and Von Maur. Always greeted with a cheerful smile and lots of catching up. She fell into the category of a precious soul. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Barbara was such a special friend in high school! Sorry our paths took us in different directions. She played piano accompaniment for my marimba solos like no one else! Such a talented and giving, loving person! A great loss. My condolences to all her family!
