Barbara Haycox Obituary

Barbara (Cline) Haycox, 85, of New Haven, IN, passed in the arms of her Higher Power February 18, 2025, peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family.

Barbara was born in Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late Theodore Becker and Barbara Cline. She graduated as valedictorian of Saint Vincent Ferrer and Indiana Purdue University. She spent her professional life in advertising.

Outside of her professional life Barbara enjoyed spending her time with her family and friends. She enjoyed attending her AA meetings, and sharing her faith and sobriety. She was a member of AA, celebrating 42 years of sobriety.

Surviving are, her children, Steven (Staci) Kemp of Churubusco, and Scott Kemp of Oklahoma; son-in-law, Greg Reed; granddaughters, Carissa (Raymond) Sordelet, Tiffany (Cory) Fromm, and Karma (Grant) Kemp; great grandchildren, Colten, Ace, and Elijah; sister, Sue (Linnea) Cline; niece, Alice; nephew, Joe; stepchildren, Gregory (Julie) of Richmond and Jeffrey (Amy) of Fort Wayne; step-grandchildren, Dustin, Ian, and Kaila.

Barbara was proceeded in death by her husband, Phillip Haycox; daughter, Lisa Reed.

A Memorial Service for Barbara will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 2 pm, at The St Anne Home Chapel, 1900 Randallia Drive, visitation will begin 2 hours prior at noon. Preferred memorials may be directed to The Rose Home. To sign the online guest book visit www.FairHavenFortWayne.com
