Barbara Middleton Obituary

BARBARA A. MIDDLETON, 56, passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2007, at Baptist Medical Center, Jacksonville Fla. Born March 24, 1951, in Cincinnati, Ohio, she moved to Jacksonville in 2000 from Fort Wayne. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Eastern Star and National Association of Power Engineers, she attended Resurrection Episcopal Church, Jacksonville, Fla., and was a member of St. Alban's Episcopal Church, Fort Wayne. Surviving are her daughters, Traci Brookbank and Robin Thornton; partner, Larry Middleton; sisters, Suzanne (Bob) Bruns and Carolyn Prakel; and brother, Jeff (Tammy) Love. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard Beatty and Audrey Love; and daughter, Julie Brookbank. A Celebration of Life service is 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Alban's Episcopal Church, 7308 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne, with the Rev. Daniel Layden officiating. Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the church. Interment will follow the service in Concordia Cemetery Gardens, 5300 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne. Memorial contributions may be made to Indiana Children's Wish Fund, 6435 Castleway W Drive Suite 130, Indianapolis, IN 46250, St. Alban's Episcopal Church, 7308 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46835 or The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Donor Services, PO Box 4072, Pittsfield, MA 01202.
