Bernard Kelley Obituary

Bernard Warren Kelley, 84, of Fort Wayne, Ind., passed away on January 22, 2025, at Astral at Auburn, IN. He was born January 17, 1941, in Cass City, Michigan, the son of Harley and L. Elna Kelley. The family moved to Fort Wayne when he was in high school and he graduated from North Side. He participated in Track and Football. Bernard was Co-Owner along with his wife, of Kelley Landscape Co. and Trelan Nursery. He loved the outdoors and spending time at their second home in Michigan, surrounded by the Manistee National Forest. He enjoyed snowmobiling, hunting, fishing and traveling. He is survived by his daughter, Brenda (Barry) Cork of Orland, IN; son, Patrick Kelley, of Ossian IN; grandchildren, Timothy (Jillian) Tiedeman II, Trevor Kelley, Jacob Kelley, Julia Kelley, great granddaughters, Kaylee Tiedeman, and Ayda Tiedeman, siblings, Arleon (Donna Meinhard) Lake Oswego OR; Marge (Ken) Bowser Kendallville, IN; William ((Cindy) Kelley Mesick, MI. Bernard was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Susan Marie Kelley, September 22, 2021, and daughter in law Stephanie Kelley. Funeral Service will be 6:30 pm. Wednesday January 29, 2025, at D.O. McComb and Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home 4017 Maplecrest Road, Fort Wayne, IN, with visitation from 4:00 – 6:30 pm at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Foundation.
