Susie was evening/night of the manager the lunch counter at Meyers Drug Store, corner of Broadway and Taylor in 1965-66. She was instrumental in introducing my wife and I. She was a part time waitress and I worked 2nd shift at GE. We´ve been married 59 years this coming September. Thank you Susie!!!!

Kenna, and family, I am not sure how to express memories, laughs, sweat equity, respect, time and many other feelings into words. I worked "under" Suzie for about 12 years, at Casas. Three years as a busser at Coldwater, age 21 saw a move to TJs (1yr) and 8 yrs at Parnell. Perspective about friends sure changes with age. Many years of Christmas cards reminded me that she hadn´t forgotten me. "NO MAN IS A FAILURE WHO HAS FRIENDS". Unfortunately we usually don´t hear how much we affect one another. I hope that at sometime I told her, she was good part of my life. She will be missed. Dawn
