Cecil Johnson Obituary

Cecil Maurice Johnson, 72, of Fort Wayne, Ind., passed away on January 16, 2025, Born in Stanton, TN on January 30th, 1952, he was the fourth child of Mary (Rice) and Herman Johnson. Cecil is survived by his wife of 43 years, Deanie Bright-Johnson; two daughters Maura and Bre Johnson (fiancé Jeremy Stewart) siblings; Jimmy Johnson, Willie Wade, Eddie (Martha) Johnson, Betty Johnson, Jackie Jamison, Polly Johnson and Jeannette (Angelo) Strothers, all of Fort Wayne, IN and Peggy (Glenn) Bennett of Chicago, IL. A celebration of life ceremony will be held 11:00 am. Saturday, January 25, 2025, at Come As You Are Community Church 7910 S. Anthony Blvd Ft Wayne, IN.. A visitation will also be held from 5-7 pm. Friday, January 24, 2025 at DO McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave. Fort Wayne, IN.
