Chad Buhr

Chad Buhr, 54, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday April 7, 2024, Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana Chad was the son of Robert and Joan (Clawson) Buhr. Chad graduated from Wayne High School class of 1989. During his working years, Chad worked for Kroger prior to his 26 year career at Meijer. All that knew Chad quickly found out his passion and love for others. He enjoyed sending gifts of love to those closest to him to brighten their day. Chad enjoyed the holidays and was the first to gather the decorations to display the holiday cheer. He also enjoyed fishing, spending time with his cousins and watching WWE. Chad was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church and served as an usher for several years. Surviving are his parents; sisters, Jill (Gary) Brigman, Holly Jo Buhr; nieces, Paige (Andy) King, Bailey (Josue) Julio; great-niece, Elin, great-nephews Mason, Sol with one great-niece on the way. Chad was preceded in death by his sister, Robin Buhr; grandparents, Paul and Marie Buhr and John and Lois Clawson. Service is 1 pm, Friday, April 12, 2024 at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton Street, with calling one hour prior. Calling also on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at the funeral home from 2 pm to 4 pm and 6 pm to 8 pm. Burial in St. Peters Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Memorials may be made to Worship Anew or Ascension Lutheran Church.
