CHELSIE A. MONTGOMERY, 29, passed away Saturday, Dec. 16, 2017, in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, Chelsie worked in housekeeping at Saint Anne Home and The Towne House Retirement Community. Surviving are her mother, Jenny (Ray) Hernandez of Fort Wayne; father, Tom (Stacey) Montgomery of Williamstown, Ky.; sisters, Kim Montgomery of Fort Wayne and Rachel Montgomery of Williamstown, Ky.; brothers, Bryce Montgomery and Brady Montgomery, both of Williamstown, Ky.; nephews, Torey, Trevon and Tristan Shelton; and many loving uncles, aunts, and cousins. Service is 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 22, 2017, at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave., with calling one hour prior. I worked with Chelsie at the Towne House. I always looked forward to seeing her each night before she left. I loved to watch her interact with the residents. She had a way about her that brought so much joy to them. She will be missed. So sorry for your loss! I am praying that God gives you comfort in the grief.
