Dear Marcia and family,
Our deepest sympathy goes out to you in this difficult time. I was blessed to have the opportunity to coach hockey for the city of Fort Wayne for ten years. Without question the greatest blessing from this experience was the opportunity to have Colin as my assistant coach for the last three years of my career. He was a dear friend and mentor to me and I feel that every minute I spent with him was truely an honor and a privelege.

Dear Marcia and Brad,

Your dedication, friendship, and enduring love for Colin were clearly instrumental in all that he accomplished in life and surely meant more to him than you'll ever know.

While we reflect on this most consequential man and his life, he awaits his heavenly reward.
Does it get any better than that?

My sincere condolences to the entire family. I had the great honor to play for Colin on his DOX teams of the early 90’s. I certainly enjoyed the opportunity to play at that time, but it wasn’t until I was older that I could truly appreciate Colin’s hard work and positive influence on young people. Colin was a selfless man that gave so much to others and I’m certainly a better person today for having know him.

To Colin's family; Colin was one of the most genuine and thoughtful person that I've ever met. I played baseball on a couple of Colin's Connie Mack teams in the late 80s. Colin's love for baseball and the Komets was clear, but what touched me most was how much he cared for the young players on his teams. I can honestly say that Colin was loved by thousands. Colin rest in peace and thank you so much for the great times! B

Colin was a wonderful man and I am very blessed to have known him. Playing hockey for him was a joy. He was by far the best coach that I have ever had because he believed in me when so many other didn't. He took interest in my life and the lives of many when he didn't have to. That's just a true testament to what a wonderful person he was. Colin will be greatly missed by many. May God hold you and keep you until we meet again.
