Constance K. Gregory

1933 - 2023

Constance K. Gregory, 89, of Fort Wayne, IN, went to be with the Lord on November 18, 2023, at home surrounded by her family. She was born in Ryder, North Dakota to the late Rev. Elias Kristensen and Inga Bjorngjeld Kristensen on December 15, 1933. Connie graduated from Lutheran Hospital School of Nursing in Fort Wayne and practiced as an RN until she transitioned to her full-time role of mom to Sam and Tom. Connie spent her lifetime serving the community through various groups in Fort Wayne; however, her joy and passion included the Bible Study Fellowship classes and her local church Bible studies. She was a longtime active member of Trinity English Lutheran Church, serving in many capacities. Survivors include sons Samuel B. Gregory III (fiance Cathy) and Thomas K. Gregory (wife Linda). Also surviving are grandchildren Kate (Tyler Molitor), Will Gregory, Bailey Sprecher, and two great-granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Samuel B. Gregory Junior, and three brothers, Lowell, Robert, and Luther Kristensen. Services are planned for Saturday, November 25, at 11:30 AM at Trinity English Lutheran Church, 450 W. Washington Blvd. with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM. The service will be live-streamed at https://www.facebook.com/fairhavenfortwayne/. The entombment will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Park immediately following the service.
